This year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote. This historic milestone provides an opportunity to commemorate a turning point in American democracy and to examine its relevance to the issues of equal rights today.
In close collaboration with the United States Consulate General in Hong Kong & Macau, the University of Chicago presents ‘100 Years of Women’s Suffrage in America’ in the Grand Hall of The Hong Kong Jockey Club University of Chicago Academic Complex | The University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong.
