Mount Davis Heritage Salon Music Series – Plínio Fernandes

Since The University of Chicago Campus in Hong Kong opened on our heritage site at Mount Davis in 2018, we have been engaging the UChicago, Hong Kong, and broader Asia community, working to fulfill our academic mission, and deliver new opportunities for community partnership and impact.

Our success would not be possible without the unwavering support from the UChicago community. To express our appreciation to our alumni and friends, you are invited to join a special music concert in collaboration with Premiere Performances, a registered charity bringing internationally celebrated artists and the world’s brightest rising stars to Hong Kong for solo recitals, chamber music, and community outreach.

On October 28, the young guitarist Plínio Fernandes will showcase his classical virtuosity with works by English Renaissance composer John Dowland and Spanish Romantic composer Fernando Sor as he shares his signature Brazilian repertoire in this debut performance in Hong Kong.

A cocktail reception will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the concert at 6:45 pm. Don’t miss this chance to reconnect with your fellow alumni and make new connections while enjoying the gorgeous sunset at Mount Davis!
