Since the UChicago Campus in Hong Kong opened on our heritage site at Mount Davis in 2018, we have been engaging the UChicago, Hong Kong, and broader Asia community, working to fulfill our academic mission, and deliver new opportunities for community partnership and impact.
Our success would not be possible without the unwavering support from the UChicago community. To express our appreciation to our alumni and friends, you are invited to join a special music concert in collaboration with Premiere Performances of Hong Kong, a registered charity bringing internationally celebrated artists and the world’s brightest rising stars to Hong Kong for solo recitals, chamber music, and community outreach.
On November 25, Canadian pianist Tony Siqi Yun and winner of the First Prize and Gold Medal at the inaugural China International Music Competition in 2019 will perform on our campus. Tony will bring an intriguing showcase of Bach, Liszt and Berio, ending the recital with Brahms’ powerful third Sonata to our audience.
A cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the concert at 6:30 pm. Don’t miss this chance to reconnect with your fellow alumni and make new connections while enjoying the gorgeous view at Mount Davis!
If this is the first time for you to visit our campus, you are also welcome to join our heritage tour at 5:30 pm to learn more about the stories of our heritage site!
Due to COVID social distancing, we are limited by the number of alumni and guests allowed on campus. Reserve your seat now and plan to enjoy our new heritage music series!
