Description:

In the wake of the new US administration's first six months, there are major questions about the implications for security and economic relationships between the United States, China, Canada, Europe and the rest of the world.  Relying on his decades of scholarship on “soft balancing” against the United States and experience advising every US administration since 9/11, Professor Pape will help us understand the overall changes in US foreign policy, how the world is already reacting to them, and whether the Trump administration is inadvertently making China #1.
