Despite ever more sophisticated technology,  a recent study conducted by the  U.S.  Institutes of Medicine concluded that doctors often make the wrong diagnosis. In fact, they estimated that every single American would be misdiagnosed in their lifetime, sometimes with devastating consequences. Dr. Stern will explore the roots of this crisis and ways to make the practice of medicine safer.
