Description:

One of the most important aspects of social change is knowing what works. While there have been many investments in measurement, evaluation and learning, the field has yet to form a cumulative knowledge base. As a result, it’s hard to tell “what works.” The emerging field of Impact Sciences uses structured data to advance new frontiers in social science, such as benchmarking, standardized reporting, impact verification, predictive modeling and even impact markets. The Nonprofit Core Competency (NCC) Workshop Series: “Measuring and Selling Your Impacts” will introduce nonprofits to the field of Impact Sciences, and help them apply it in their organizations.

It is led by Jason Saul, Executive Director, Center for Impact Sciences, Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago and Dr. Heather King, Vice President of Standards at Impact Genome Registry.
