Zoom Webinar

Description:

Digital artists are flooding into the NFT (Non-fungible Tokens) art space with new creations. Are they trying to solve the problem of provenance of their work via the blockchain, receive continued royalties on their works post-sale or are there other motivations?

Tune in to the third episode of /pɒp/Asia with award-winning contemporary Chinese musician and the first to release a music NFT, Hanjin Tan, the co-creator of DADA and a pioneer in NFT art, Judy Mam, and renowned digital artist and UChicago Professor Jason Salavon.

These creators will share their works and discuss the realities of NFT and art; why some established artists may be hesitant about jumping into the crypto world while others are taking initial first steps to participate in the phenomenon, and how much of a difference NFT is making to the art world by upending established norms.

Understand this revolution in the art world from the perspective of three renowned creators and hear their lively discussion.
