Designed to recognize excellence in events across North Asia, the Marketing Events Awards invited many top professionals from the region to Hotel ICON on July 27th.
An independent senior panel of experts carefully evaluated all award entries and presented The University of Chicago with two gold prizes for “Best Use of Venue” and “Best Cost-Effective Event” for our heritage exhibition: “Hong Kong Memories: Miniatures & Photographs of Old Hong Kong Streetscapes”.
The popular exhibition collaboration between UChicago Hong Kong Faculty Director and renowned historian Professor Kenneth Pomeranz, campus staff and two local NGOs has been well received both academically and for the entertaining presentation value of old Hong Kong.
